James Baxter, Ph.D.
James Baxter's background includes qualifications in Agricultural
Science, Valuation, and Planning. He joined RMIT University,
Melbourne in 1973 where he is Associate Professor of Property.
Previous to that, James was a valuer with the Australian government.
From 1994 to 1995, Dr. Baxter was President of the Victorian
Division of the Australian Institute of Valuers & Land Economists.
He was National Councillor of the Australian Property Institute
until 1998. Dr. Baxter is a Fellow of the Australian Property
Institute, a member of the Australian Institute of Agricultural
Science & Technology, Certified Practicing Valuer, and a Chartered
Surveyor.
David Greenwood, MBA, FRICS, FICB (Hon), AACI (Ret).
Mr. Greenwood is a Chartered Surveyor and corporate real estate
advisor for Avison Young Commercial Real Estate in Vancouver.
Following practice in local government, Mr. Greenwood attended
Portsmouth Polytechnic (U.K.) and the University of British
Columbia. After completing his studies in 1973, he joined a
private valuation practice based in Montreal and Toronto. From
1980 to 1988, Mr. Greenwood was employed by the Royal Bank of
Canada in Montreal and Vancouver, where he enjoyed a career
in property and commercial banking. From 1988 to 1999, he was
President and CEO of a private Canadian property investment
and development company.
David Greenwood is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors, an Accredited Appraiser of the Canadian Institute
(Ret.), and a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. He
was awarded the Institute's 1985 Gold Medal for excellence in
banking studies. He has served as the Vancouver Chapter President
of Lambda Alpha International and is Vice President and Governor
on the international Board of Lambda Alpha International - an
honorary land economics society. In his spare time, David is
a Rotarian who enjoys a round of golf.
